Crosland Heath Golf Club was founded in 1914 and is the second highest golf club in England. The panoramic views across the town of Huddersfield stretch well into the East Ridings. To the north, south and west, the views over the Pennine Hills are equally spectacular. This interesting but testing heathland course is renowned for the quality of the greens, and although situated in the Pennines it is a mainly easy walking course. One of the great challenging aspects of playing at Crosland Heath can be conquering the wind. A warm welcome awaits in the clubhouse where the opportunity to taste the excellent cuisine as well as the local beers is never turned down.
