Previously known as Comberton Golf Club until the members decided to change the name, Kidderminster makes the most of natural hazards and has been sculpted into a challenging test of parkland golf. It is fairly easy walking, but in very dry conditions it is anything but easy. When the sun bakes the course dries up and resembles a quite links-like appearance. So if you play it in the summer months be sure to brush up on your seaside game. The back nine is longer and wider than the front and making birdies is, obviously, a little tougher. The big hitters, however, may find joy at the 13th and 17th holes, both of which are superb par fives.
