Designed in the early 1920s by the legendary Harry Colt, Couldson Cort is located in Surrey, just outside of Croydon between Purley and Coulsdon, and is set in the ground of Lord Byron’s magnificent parkland estate.
Measuring in excess of 6,000 yards, it is a fair but stern test that golfers of all standards will take great delight in playing.
It is laid out on the plateau that tops the midmost of the ridges which run out towards Purley from the North Downs and sits 500 feet above sea level, commanding an immense stretch of hill and dale from the fringes of London on the North to Caterham Valley on the south. It’s certainly worth making some time to play.
