If it is a top-notch heathland course you are in search of you could do far worse than check out the fabulous one at Aldeburgh Golf Club. The Championship Course holds plenty of challenges lying in wait there at every nook at cranny to test and stretch every part of your game. Rather than go out there cold, it might be an idea to make use of the extensive practice facilities that are found on the site.
The course has been improved over the last five years, with the gorse being cut back to ease the driving, particularly for the mid to high handicap golfers. The introduction of tighter green entries and championship tees that make the course longer mean that this course can test any golfer. For those not feeling up to The Championship Course there is the tricky, nine hole, River Course.
