Set deep in the peaceful, tranquil countryside at Wheathill Golf Club, you can enjoy a leisurely round on a course when the calm silence is almost audible. It is easy to forget the stresses and worries of everyday life as you take to the tees on this course, such is its seclusion from the hustle and bustle of city life.
It is not by any means the longest course in the region, spanning little over 5300 yards for its eighteen holes, but it is certainly a good place to enjoy a round. Watch out for the strategically placed bunkers that protect the greens - they play havoc with your approach shots if they're anything other than accurate so sure and steady wins the race here.
