Occupying the high ground known as Dod Law in the village of Doddington, this nine-hole course has eighteen tees for those looking to play a full round of golf, and provides some of the most panoramic and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside to be had anywhere in the Northumberland district. Three par threes and three par fives help make up a total yardage of 6411 from tee to pin on the white tees and thus provides a stern challenge to all golfers, irrespective of ability or experience. The course benefits further from excellent irrigation, and is more or less suitable for all-weather, closing only in the most extreme conditions. Its cheap greens fees also represent one of the best value for money courses around.
