Cleethorpes Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in Lincolnshire. It was originally known as Grimsby and Cleethorpes Golf Club, changing its name to Cleethorpes in January 1929.
Since celebrating its centenary in 1994, when the new course layout was first used, much work has been carried out on the course to improve the all round condition. The course still, however, retains some of the original features set out by legendary golf course architects Harry Vardon and Dr Alister Mackenzie in the early part of the last century.
The addition of Meridian Point Retail Park on land neighbouring the club, the beach, the light coastal railway and Pleasure Island Theme Park, make Cleethorpes a great day out for all the family.
