Cameron Sinclair was the golf course architect who lent his skills to the design of the fabulous course at Cosby Golf Club away back in the early 1890s. And based upon his designs, it first opened in 1895 making it one of the oldest golf courses in the whole Leicestershire region. It has built up for itself a formidable reputation and is well respected by golfers for the sound test of ability it offers.
Over the last 8 years, the majority of holes have been altered to make it more interesting, culminating in a large construction project of new 6th and 8th tees and the re-modelling of the 7th green, which gives a beautiful view as you round the 7th, a tricky but beautuful par 4, guarded short left by a natural pond.
Indeed, there is enough here to challenge and excite the best players without intimidating those newer to the game.

Very each to reach. We are close to Junction 21 of the M1. You travel south along the B114 until you reach a turning to the left for Cosby (approx 3 miles). There is a petrol station on the corner). Travel down Croft Road until you reach the village. In the centre of the village you turn right onto Broughton Road and several hundred yards on your left is the turn to Chapel Lane. We are situated on the left.
