The course at Pleasington Golf Club, just three miles south of Blackburn town centre, is one that demands you have a lot of stamina and courage about you in order to successfully negotiate your way around it, as it plunges and rises across some fabulous moorland and will test how good you are at judging distances and drops. There is also a great variety of greens: some are flat, some are rolling, whilst some are well-guarded and some are narrow. It really is a fine challenge. The 17th in particular is a stern test so you have been warned!
The course is well over 100 years old having been founded in 1891 and offers a par of 71 over 6417 yards and eighteen holes.
