Brickendon Grange golf club, set across 160 acres of undulating Hertfordshire countryside, is a fine example of a mature parkland course featuring a great variety of trees and copses, as well as more than just the occasional hazard that will test all levels of golfer without being overly intimidating.
Its signature hole is the par 4 seventeenth, affectionately known as the "Ace of Herts", such is the regard that people hold it in compared to other holes in the area. It is a menacing dog-leg to the right with a large lake lurking just around the corner, so trying to cut the dog-leg could prove disastrous. Similarly, driving too far left could land you in one of the fairway bunkers, so play your tee-shot wisely.
