Maintenance company help set up for the pros
Technical Staff at Ransomes Jacobsen were on-hand to provide tournament support at both the Alstom Open de France at Le Golf National in Paris and at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open at Castle Stuart Golf Link near Inverness earlier this year as both tournaments proved to be major successes.
In 2010, Le Golf National signed an exclusive supplier agreement with Ransomes Jacobsen France (RJF) for both golf course machinery and golf cars. The agreement includes regular product training for the golf club's greenkeeping team and maintenance technicians at RJF’s Toulouse headquarers supported by regular visits from their technical director, Pierre Poursel.
Alejandro Reyes, the recently appointed course manager at Le Golf National, is delighted with the club's collaboration and said: “The quality of service and the level of engagement provided by Ransomes Jacobsen France is exceptional. I have always made it important to use the technical support from any partner companies to ensure the optimal performance of the equipment purchased.
“Since arriving at Le Golf National in January, I have been delighted with their professionalism.”
One week later, the support team technicians headed to Inverness for the Aberdeen Asset Management Scotish Open at Castle Stuart.
Commenting on the support received from the Ransomes Jacobsen team, course manager Chris Haspell said: “To have the technical guys here was great; the peace of mind and the trouble shooting they do is invaluable. As a company Ransomes Jacobsen should be proud of the service they offer; couple that with the backup we get from our local dealer it’s obvious why we have a solid relationship.”
