Jensen Hull shot an incredible 66 in a mid-week medal to set the course record from the white tees at Hever Castle Golf Club.
Despite the parkland course having a reputation for providing a stern test, Jensen still produced a score of six-under-par in conditions that were windy enough to prevent anyone else in the field playing to their handicap. The course, comprising the Kings and Queens nines, has hosted the Kent Amateur Championship, the Euro Pro Tour and the Kent PGA Championship.
Jensen, whose scorecard boasted an amazing seven 3s and two 2s, began his round in impressive form with a front nine of 32 that was backed up by a 34 on the more difficult back nine.
The 17-year-old, who has been a junior at Hever Castle since 2009, added the title to his growing list of achievements including that of course record holder on the championship course off the blue tees following a 67 when just 16.
