Fun Game No.1 - ‘The Splash Dash’
What is it?
The ‘Splash Dash’ is a tremendous game designed to help improve short game skills and quick decision-making. It is best when you have at least two players playing and it is recommended that you use safe and easy-to-hit oversized balls, such as Golphin’s bespoke Flipper golf balls.
How to play
Simply set the game up in the garden or another open space. You need a Golphin 7-iron or Swedger, Golphin Flipper or Clicker balls, and a small paddling pool filled with water. Pick a start area up to 20 metres away from the paddling pool, depending on the available space. Each player then gets to hit the ball up to three times with the aim of splashing it into the pool. Time how long it takes from hitting the first shot until the ball is in the pool, The winner is the player that splashes their ball in the pool in the quickest time.
The outcomes
This is a fantastic game that will help develop the basic skills required for a good short game. It also combines golf with physical exercise and gets kids, family and friends playing sports together. It’s a brilliant way to make learning the greatest sport there is more fun.
