The Belfry Hotel & Resort had an outstanding result at the recent annual World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony in Athens, cementing its reputation as a world-class leading resort.
Regarded as ‘The Oscars’ of the travel industry, the awards acknowledge winners that truly set the benchmark to the rest of the industry, with the 2002 Ryder Cup host venue duly rewarded for its exceptionally high standard of service – from its expert team who provide a personal touch to each event and its diverse use of spaces and bespoke approach to every one of its conferences it hosts each year.
The Belfry retained its title of ‘England’s Leading Resort’ and ‘England’s Leading Conference Hotel’, despite strong competition from some of the finest resorts across the country.
Voting was based on its high-quality facilities and leisure attractions, coupled with services of a similar standard, with the victory underlining The Belfry’s status amongst Europe’s elite.
Gail Aldridge, marketing director at the Warwickshire resort, said: “To retain the title of ‘England’s Leading Resort’ recognises that The Belfry is leading the way in British hospitality, offering world-class facilities and an outstanding level of service, which is something which we are extremely proud of.”
The ‘England’s Leading Conference Hotel’ award, meanwhile, is testament its wide range of 20 suites that can accommodate up to 400 guests.
The resort’s sales director Katie Niland added:
“It is exceptionally rewarding to have been named England’s Leading Conference Hotel for another year. The diversity of the conferences that take place constantly challenges our team and the award is a reward for the hard work, dedication and expertise they put into each experience.”
