Cleveland Golf and Srixon have opened a new ‘centre of excellence’ at Studley Wood Golf Club in Oxfordshire.
The new centre gives golfers one-on-one tuition with Studley Wood’s team of PGA Professionals as well as a technology-driven custom fitting for both clubs and golf balls by utilising the same TrackMan software used by many of the world’s best golfers.
TrackMan data allows the Clevleand Golf and Srixon team at Studley Wood to analyse any golfer’s ball and club speed, launch angle and spin, to ensure every customer gets a fully bespoke custom-fitting service across the Cleveland Golf and Srixon product line.
Cleveland Golf’s family of 588 irons extends this offering further by giving golfers the unique opportunity to mix and match on head types and shafts across the three different Altitude, MT and TT models.
Each head type has been engineered for differing levels of flight, feel and forgiveness, and with no additional upcharge on many of the custom shaft and grip options, Cleveland Golf’s 588 Irons family offers each player the chance to tailor each club in the bag to their game.
Dean Cracknell, product and custom fit manager for Cleveland Golf &Srixon Europe, said he was “delighted” to see the new centre come to fruition in Oxfordshire.
“The whole team is incredibly knowledgeable and we believe the whole setup there is the perfect fit for Cleveland Golf and Srixon,” said Cracknell.
The addition of the Studley Wood venue follows on from the opening of a centre of excellence at Rockliffe Hall in Darlington last year, and now gives golfers nationwide an opportunity to taste the Centre of Excellence experience in both Northern and Southern areas of the UK.
The full custom fit package costs just £40 and allows golfers to try out balls across the Srixon range as well as tailor their custom fit to specific requirements.
