The World Golf Teachers Federation can help you learn all the skills you need to help others
Do you like the idea of becoming a qualified golf coach without leaving the comfort of your own home?
It might sound like a dream but if the Open University can produce successful degree and masters students, it must be possible to learn how to become a golf coach from your living room, too. Right? Right.
Many people have already enjoyed helping others to play better golf in small ways but imagine the satisfaction you would experience when becoming an expert, enjoying the freedom to work when and where you want with passion and enthusiasm.
The World Golf Teachers Federation of Great Britain and Ireland has discovered many golfers want to enjoy that lifestyle and now a new format exists where they can learn all the skills they need from home in an inexpensive way while still doing their day job.
This easy-to-access format includes over 20 hours of recorded seminars, nine hours of live online interactive training and practical work with friends and acquaintances
The skills you learn will guarantee you can help others play better golf. They include, a solid understanding of the golf swing, and how to build and repair using new innovate processes while monitoring and supporting that learning. You will also learn how to use teaching aids, coach groups, and market yourself effectively, with an essential understanding of all aspects of mental and peak performance.
Peter Hudson, president of the World Golf Teachers Federation of Great Britain and Ireland, commented: “I don’t know whether you are like me but the advantage of being able to attend a seminar again and again until I understand everything makes learning much easier than sitting in a classroom with a vacant look on my face.”
A complete understanding of feedback, how to coach intrinsically, a knowledge of the anatomy, the science behind the golf swing, club-fitting and how to set well formed outcomes, plan improvements and manage practice are just a fraction of the essential skills you will learn.
