This family of tour-level balls is engineered to different swing speeds to help players of all levels maximise distance and spin everywhere on the course.
Available in three models – SR1, SR2 and SR3 – this family of golf balls maximises the benefit of using Speed Regime technology, which has been designed to match three common swing speed categories.
“Callaway has been built on the premise of creating products that enhance the enjoyment of golfers game” – Neil Howie, Callaway‘s president and managing director of EMEA
The Speed Regime 1 model has been developed for those with a swing speed of 90mph and below. Callaway say it gives ‘optimised aerodynamics for more distance at moderate swing speed’ with the HEX pattern being key to giving excellent aerodynamic performance and delivering a long, stable ball flight.
The Speed Regime 2 is for golfers with a swing speed between 90 and 105mph and gives ‘optimised aerodynamics for more distance at athletic swing speeds’. Its soft cover makes it easier to control when hitting approach shots and shots around the green.
Finally, there is the Speed Regime 3 model. Built for those with swing speeds above 105mph, it helps improve aerodynamic performance by reducing high speed drag and giving a penetrating ball flight.
Neil Howie, president and managing director of Callaway EMEA, said: “Whilst the Speed Regime concept seems simplistic in nature, our R&D team have worked tirelessly to produce a range of golf balls that will truly benefit all amateur and professional golfers. Callaway has been built on the premise of creating products that enhance the enjoyment of golfers game and the Speed Regime golf balls will do exactly that.”
The new Speed Regime family will be available from retailers from January 31, with an RRP of £39.99 per dozen. For more information on these golf balls, head over to www.callawaygolf.com, or look out for them in a future issue of bunkered.
