TaylorMade updates Daddy Long Legs putter

TaylorMade | Daddy Long Legs+

Two years after TaylorMade brought its first counterbalanced putters to the market, it has returned once more with the release of the Daddy Long Legs+, the latest addition to its counterbalanced range.

Described as the most technologically-advanced and stable putter it has ever created, the Daddy Long Legs+ features the new SuperStroke XL 2.0 grip with a 125g counter weight and a True Temper lightweight steel shaft to maximise the stability offered during the stroke.

The DLL+ has been designed to put 200% more weight above the hands to raise the balance point of the putter by two inches. In turn, this allows greater control of the heavier head.

“We’ve taken one of our most popular putters of all time and added performance features to deliver a remarkably stable putter stroke” – Clay Long, TaylorMade’s senior director of product creation for putters

Another feature of TaylorMade‘s Daddy Long Legs+ is its new deep-milled 6061 13-gram aluminium insert. Inspired by tour player feedback, it has been engineered to deliver a crisp, clean feel off the putter face and a smooth, accurate roll. The rough surface of the insert also softens the sound at impact, giving more feedback from your stroke.

“With Daddy Long Legs+, the stability and performance of our counterbalance putters have been taken to the next level,” said Clay Long, TaylorMade’s senior director of product creation for putters. “We’ve taken one of our most popular putters of all time and added performance features to deliver a remarkably stable putter stroke which golfers of all abilities can benefit from.”
