The collection features a new fit in men’s performance apparel and hopes to provide options for golfers of all styles, with refined designs and a balance of bold and subtle graphics.
The men’s range has been designed for maximum breathability, comfort and optimal performance, no matter what the conditions on the course are like, while the women’s collection features an assortment of colours and fabrics that blend traditional golf pieces with a more athletic look and feel.
In addition to PUMA CELL, Puma Golf’s signature technology platform, a bio-based coat has been added to eliminate odour and keep golfers fresh on and off the course. Also, to ensure the golfer is protected from the sun, almost all of the apparel in the collection for men and women comes with UV protection.
Speaking on the release of the collection, head of Puma Golf apparel Kristen Debany, said: “We’re committed to creating the best functioning golf apparel for all ages and styles. This season, we are introducing a new, more refined palette along with pops of bright colours so it can be something for everyone.
“Additionally, our spring 2015 men’s performance apparel delivers a consistent fit across all styles, more chest and shoulder room, and longer, wider sleeves to give players an advantage on the course, optimal range of motion and unmatched comfort.”
The players modelling the Puma Golf range in 2015 are PGA Tour players Rickie Fowler – who has donned the apparel in each event this season – Jonas Blixt and Graham DeLaet as well as four-time LPGA Tour winner Lexi Thompson.
