In development for more than two years, the Utx grip is the first to feature the company’s proprietary Tri Layer Technology, designed to optimize feel and resistance to wet weather.
The foundation of the grip is made of a super tacky and softer ACE 3GEN material to provide enhanced comfort. This material is patented by Lamkin and is central to the unique feel of the UTx grips.
The middle layer is made from a moisture-wicking fabric weave that delivers surface traction and tremendous grip control in wet weather.
Finally, the outer layer is a firmer ACE 3GEN compound designed to limit torque and reduce shot dispersion.
“It’s a perfect formula of proven grip materials.” – Bob Lamkin, CEO of Lamkin Grips
“As soon as I felt this grip, I knew it would be received with tremendous anticipation and excitement” – said Lamkin Grips CEO, Bob Lamkin.
“It’s a perfect formula of proven grip materials, but blended in a unique way to provide a performance advantage that is immediately evident.”
The new UTx grips seek to provide a grip that allows golfers to handle the club with less tension, but with the same security of a firm grasp. This can lead to a more relaxed swing, and more consistent shots.
The soft and sticky feel of the UTx grips, due to the development of the Tri Layer Technology; make for a club grip that performs well in the rain and wet conditions. Ideal for a round where the elements are at their most challenging.
Lamkin’s Utx golf grips come in three colours, and are available in standard and mid sizes, to suit all specifications.
The UTx grips are available to buy in stores now, for more information log-on to www.lamkin.co.uk
