James Braid was the co-designer of the fine course at Kedleston Park Golf Club. The Fife born former winner of the Open is well regarded and highly esteemed as one of the finest golf course architects of all-time and his design shaped and influenced the way golf course design developed throughout the twentieth century. Morrison & Co collaborated with him on the layout of the course and it subsequently opened for the enjoyment of club golfers everywhere in 1947.
Now in its 57th year, it remains a true and stern test of golf, with hazards littered everywhere for you to tackle. Cunningly positioned bunkers are a particular feature of this excellent parkland course.
