Course Description

Set in a beautiful area of North Cumbria, and boasting unrivalled, panoramic views of the Lake District, the south of Scotland and the Pennines, Brampton golf club could not have more idyllic scenery to accompany a fine round of golf. It was originally designed by esteemed golf course architect James Braid, and, measuring 6407 yards from the competition tees, it has a par of 72.

Set upon undulating heathland, it was been favourably compared by many visitors to Glenagles and is affectionately referred to by local golf enthusiasts as the "Jewel of Cumbria". The recently enlarged and refurbished clubhouse provides excellent service and facilities, catering for both members and guests alike. A warm, friendly welcome is given to visitors and parties/societies at all times. To avoid disappointment pre-booking is recommended.
