.The Point sits just above the Camel Estuary on the North Cornish Coast, a mile from St Enodoc/Rock. The golf course came under new ownership 5 years ago and has seen dramatic changes. There has been an ongoing redesign of the course under the guidance of architect Tim Lobb, with over half the holes seeing huge improvements. New tees and bunkers on a number of holes as well as enhanced definition on the fairways. The rough has been cut back and sprayed to enable the fescues to thrive and the pace of play improve. The course is a real challenge for golfers of all standards and plays just short of 6300 yards off the back tees. Another feature of the continued investment has been the enormous improvement in the greens, now considered to be among the best in Cornwall. 2017 will see the opening of a brand enlarged new bar with a stunning terrace overlooking the 9th and 18th greens, together with a new balcony outside the restaurant to make the most of the views. The new apartments completed in 2015 have proven a huge success for visitors, who can also take advantage of the Health Club. The Point is home to a thriving members Club which welcomes visitors and societies from all over the Country.
