Extended and redesigned in 1977 by Dave Thomas & Peter Allis, the championship 6800yd course at Walton Hall is widely acknowledges as the premier municipal golf course in the North of England. Water comes into play in places, and we boast three parr 3's over 200yds long. The course Director of Golf is Paul Hodgson and is owned by Warrington Borough Council, who keep it manicured for good play and visual outlook. Customer comments in 2011 are pleasing. Costing £14.70 during the week and £19.00 at the weekend (with concessions for Seniors & Juniors) , it represents excellent value for money. The course can be hugely popular especially towards the end of the week and weekends, so advanced booking is required at these time. Give Pual a call for bookings and for details of stock if purchasing is planned. Why not bring the family to Walton Hall Gardens which is on the Estate whilst you play, as there is a free to access childrens zoo, play areas, picnic areas, ornamental gardens and pay to access pitch & putt course & crazy golf. We offer a VAQAS and Green Flag accredited location which is a Cheshire Garden of Distinction. www.visitcheshire.com/gardens
