It offers beautiful vistas as far as the eye can see, gazing over the Thames Valley from its standing point high up in the tri-county countyside near Maidenhead. Founded in 1909, the golf courses first open for play in 1910 and was designed by Willie Park Junior. He was a fine example of a golf course architect, whose visionary outlook and fabulous imagination proved pivotal to many other courses in the country.
