Drayton Park is where Paul Broadhurst, the veteran European Tour player, often spends his time off. The club opened in the middle of the 1990s during golfing boom. This when golf courses the length and breadth of the United Kingdom were being constructed simply just to cope with the massive surge in the numbers of golfers. And while other clubs have struggled to either attract members or hold onto them, Drayton Park has flourished and is now one of the top clubs in the area.
New greens were built during 2001 in order to provide members and visitors with year round golf. These are now looking good and playing well and will even remain in play throughout the winter.
