Downshire is living proof that not all 'munis' are mud tracks walked all over by the public - this is an honest, hard working club that is reaping the benefits of a forward thinking committee and is slowly but surely setting an example to some of the 'members only' clubs in the surrounding area.

Downshire is a mature, 27-year-old course that benefits from the best of the Berkshire countryside.

The complex has had a number of operators in its history, but since 1999 it has been managed by Bracknell Forest Borough Council.
