The legendary Harry Colt designed this traditional parkland course, widely regarded as one of the best courses in the area, in 1930. Colt also built the likes of Sunningdale Old and Wentworth East and West.
The 18-hole course is 6,216-yards long off the tips and is acknowledged as a demanding and fair test of golf. There are two par fives, both reachable in two by strong hitters and four excellent par threes, including the 7th, the signature hole, played across a lake to an elevated green.
Calcot Park has an abundance of mature trees and shrubs and the areas surrounding the course which are home to a variety of wildlife including badgers, foxes and deer.
