Withernsea Golf Club

There are many great seaside links courses in Yorkshire, but perhaps the best of all is the one at Withernsea Golf Club. It will celebrate its centenary year in 2007 and is as popular today as it was back when it first opened. Despite only being a nine-hole course, fans of the full round of golf can play it as eighteen-hole, for which it spans 5907 yards and offers a par of 72 - a very good indication of the challenges that lie in store for you!

The course has very narrow fairways which command accuracy from the tee, and the greens are well guarded and small which complicates your approach play so you will need good knowledge of your irons and be confident using them.
