Skipton Golf Club

One of the oldest courses in Yorkshire can be found at Skipton Golf Club. It was founded in 1896 and is set on luscious undulating parkland with fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. On a clear day, you can see for miles from some of the tees and will be left breathless by the fabulous Yorkshire countryside.

Although the course only measures 6076 from the tee on the first hole to the pin on the eighteenth, you are assured a testing round as indicated by the par of 70 that it offers, no doubt as a result of the many hazards that come into play.

Indeed, water features on several holes and approaches to some greens are made more complicated by cleverly placed bunkers.
