Shipley Golf Club

World-renowned golf course architect Dr. Alistair Mackenzie is responsible for the wonderful course at Shipley Golf Club. It is set in a beautiful wooded valley at Beckfoot, just outside Bingley in West Yorkshire. The course is held in such high regard in the county that it is a frequently used venue for Yorkshire County and Bradford Union matches, and is the home of the Bradford and District Union of Golf Clubs.

The course is quite undulating and sprawls through 6215yards of luscious parkland. Ample variety is provided by the course's unusual layout, with six par-3s, seven par-4s and five par-5s, so you can be sure that your every shot will be tested. The par-4 second is considered one of the toughest holes in the region.
