Designed by Sir George Sitwell and Edward Lutyers, Renishaw Golf Club was founded in 1911 and has a fabulous course laid out on luxurious parkland which is as popular today as it was back when it first opened over ninety years ago. It is an eighteen-hole course which stretches for 6262 yards from the tee on the first to the pin on the last hole, offering a par of 71, which is a good indication of the challenges that lie in wait for you.
It is mainly easy walking, which is a blessing as precious little else is given to you here: the par-4s are long and demanding and will seriously test your long irons, whilst the par-3s are taxing and have tough approaches. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
