Unlike so many of the courses in Yorkshire, that are mainly laid out on springy parkland turf, the one at High Melton Golf Club - just minutes outside of the town of Melton - has been set upon some truly beautiful meadowland, with plenty of challenges to excite, entice and ultimately reward golfers of all levels of ability, whether a high or low handicapper.

Be wary on some of the holes of the lakes that come into play. No matter how good a round you have on the rest of the holes, these are the ones that are most likely to do damage to your scorecard and undo all your hard work. Shoot accurately and carefully.
