Because there are two Bridlington golf courses, this one is routinely referred to as 'The Links', for obvious reasons.
Many visitors are often taken aback by the sheer that's provided here. This is no easy links course, and if you happen to walk onto the first tee expecting an enjoyable afternoon stroll through winding dunes while knocking a ball about you could pay the price - and a pretty heavy one at that! The Links is as tough a seaside test you're likely to find. The fairways are reasonably narrow and the rough can be quite thick at times. It's not easy stuff to escape from, so best advice is to stay clear of it altogether! The stunning views all around complete what is a magical set-up - a genuine hidden gem.
