Designed by the legendary modern day golf course architect Donald Steel, Boothferry Golf Club is one of the most enjoyable meadowland courses in Yorkshire and is often the focal point for many visiting golfers.
This quaintly enjoyable meadowland test in the Vale of York features interesting natural dykes that create an unusual, somewhat unwanted challenge on a number of holes! The par three fifth, a delightful example of Steel's majesty when it comes to course design, is played over water and will, no doubt, test your nerve, ability and patience. Should you visit, beware of the 'spectacle' bunkers on the seventh. Miss-club here and you will end up with serious problems. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
