North Worcestershire was designed by the prolific Scottish golf course architect James Braid. The former Open champion designed some of the most celebrated golf courses in the world, including the world famous King's and Queen's courses at Gleneagles, and his courses are well known to have stood the test of time.
North Worcestershire is a shining example of Braid's genius. This mature parkland course uses trees as its primary defence as opposed to knee-deep think rough. It gives you a chance to shoot low but it's a chance you'll have to take otherwise you could find yourself marking down some fairly high numbers on the scorecard. It might be short, but it requires the very best in golf course management. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
