Over the years Walmley has seen many changes, both to the course and the clubhouse, the latter built in the mid-1960s.

The par 71 course stretches to 6,259 yards and provides a fair but challenging test of golf for players of any handicap. A fair number of holes are tree lined - keep it straight on these holes or you're in trouble - and twin lakes come into play on the fourth, fifth and sixth holes.

The attractive clubhouse is ideal for post-round refreshments and offers magnificent view across the course.
