One of the shortest eighteen-hole courses in the United Kingdom - if not the shortest - Boldmere's golf course measures only 4198 yards, so is ideal for those who like a more relaxing, less arduous round of golf. However, what it lacks in distance it more than makes up for in terms of enjoyment and challenge as it is a taxing, treat of a course to play.
There are some excellent long par 3s and par 4s. The sixteenth, in particular, is one of the most demanding holes on the course. A par 4, it offers a long, wide fairway, but with the lake lurking to the left of the tee, any stray shot is likely to be punished.
