Rye Golf Club is a traditional old seaside venue that grants you the welcome opportunity to step back in time. Many believe the Old Course at Rye to be one of the most eye-catching, memorable and challenging links courses in the country and it is very hard to disagree with that.
Catch Rye on a good day and you could avoid a blustery seaside wind. Catch it on a 'bad' day, when the wind is in full flow and 8-irons suddenly become low, reaching 4-irons, and you could be in for the round of your life. The par fours - long, blind, dog-legs, you name it - are exceptional while the par threes are of the best quality - you need pinpoint accuracy and touch to hit and hold the greens.
