Pyecombe Golf Course is situated in the South Downs some six miles north of Brighton. The downland terrain provides good drainage and the course is rarely closed, even in the wettest of weather.
It is a good test of golf to players of differing abilities, a sure sign of any goof course. Playing the course provides panoramic scenery and wild life surroundings in equal proportions. Pyecombe can be quite a trek (especially if you're form isn't up to that much) but the views from most of holes make all the climbing worthwhile.
