Founded in 1912, Woodcote Park Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course, part downland, measuring 6,720 yards, making it one of the longer courses in the county.
Woodcote won the prestigious title of English Champion Club in 2002 and 2003 in addition to finishing in third place at the European Champion Club competition in the same year. The members, then, are fairly good at their golf! Woodcote Park consists of two parts - eight holes at the top of the course and on the same level as the clubhouse, and ten holes which slope down about 150 feet to flat ground before gradually rising again to the original level.
