Established in 1924 and set amidst the history and splendour of London’s largest Royal Park, Richmond Park Golf Club is one of the finest golf clubs playing in a public facility. It offers two distinct golf courses, the Duke’s and the Prince’s, and each possesses its own unique character and challenge. The Duke’s is the slightly longer of the two, measuring in excess of 6,200 yards from the back tees, compared with the Prince’s, which is around 5,800 yards. In late 2007, the club received a welcome boost when it was announced that it would be the subject of a £3.5million investment, which will be used for course enhancement and which will see the construction of a new clubhouse, practice range and academy golf course.
