Purley Downs Golf Club

Purley Downs Golf Club is a privately owned club run for the members by the members. The golf course is located on the North Downs and, as such, is mainly built on chalk. Even after a prolonged downfall of heavy rain, the course is rarely waterlogged or closed.

It is a superb downland course with barely a flat lie to be found. Four holes near to the clubhouse play into and across a valley. There are many established trees and woods and some clusters of newly planted trees.

The courses redesigned a number of bunkers in 1993 so be wary of where you aim your ball! The par 70 course consists of four par threes, two par fives and the rest being par fours.
