Situated not to far from Godalming in the village of Hurtmore, Surrey, Hurtmore Golf Club is a superb 18-hole pay-and-play golf course where visitors from near and far can turn up for a few holes at their leisure.

The Hurtmore course was part of the early 1990 golfing boom and opened in 1992. It was originally designed by BBC golf commentators Peter Allis and Clive Clarke.

The 5,530-yard undulating parkland course has several lakes that come into play more than once and a number of strategically positioned bunkers. It isn't the hardest golf course in the world yet it does not claim to be. If you are looking for an enjoyable round in glorious surroundings then this is the place to be.
