Hampton Court Palace Golf Club is one of the few courses in the United Kingdom that is enclosed in a royal park. Because of that, it is literally surrounded by wildlife and is generally regarded as one of the most naturally beautiful golf courses in the country.

Although relatively flat, there is a lot of natural shape as well as some severe ditches and mounds and a lot of well placed bunkers.

It's quite open, too, and the fairways are generally not tree-lined. But while that allows you to open the shoulders and have a go with the driver, the wind often picks up and is always a factor.

There are plenty of long par fours demanding a wood or long iron into the green. Superb!
