Our 18 hole, Par 71 (SS 71), parkland course is generally regarded as an enjoyable yet stern test of golf. This is testified to by the players involved with the prestigious events held here such as the PGA Europro Tour as televised on Sky Sports, and the Best Western Senior Masters. There is a good selection of short technical and longer holes which circle our central 5 acre conservation area. Water comes into play on 12 of the holes and the risk verses reward debate on each hole makes it particularly popular with more discerning gofers. Due to the naturally free draining characteristics of the soil combined with our dedicated team of greenkeepers, who work tirelessly to keep our course playable no matter what the weather, we were recently voted a Top 10 Winter Course by Today’s Golfer. Therefore, there is a very good chance that our course is open and playable when many other courses have had to close. Even trolley bans are an extremely rare occurrence here at Ufford Park.

How to Get there

By Road: From Ipswich - take the A12 north bypassing Woodbridge & turn right at the roundabout onto the A1152 to Melton. Follow this road down to the traffic lights & turn left onto the B1438 towards Ufford. Ufford Park is approximately 1 mile on your right. From Lowestoft - take the A12 south & exit onto the B1438 to Melton & Ufford. After 300m turn right, signposted Melton, and right again onto Yarmouth Road. Ufford Park is 500m on your left. From M25 - exit Junction 28 onto A12 northbound. At Ipswich turn right onto the A14 eastbound towards Felixstowe. Keep on A14 until the exit for A12 northbound towards Lowestoft. By Rail: Intercity line from London to Ipswich, then Ipswich to Lowestoft line, disembarking at Melton.
