Sometimes golf course architects are hit with a flash of inspiration when they are in the middle of a design, and one glance around the holes of Royal Worlington and Newmarket Golf Club certainly confirms that to be the case here. Its course, designed as an inland links style layout, benefits from some fantastic scenery and really testing holes. In short, it is a true gem to play.

Although it has only nine-holes, there are alternative tees that allow it to be played as an eighteen-hole, and with narrow fairways and well-protected greens to negotiate, we are certain you will enjoy your visit to it as much as we did.
