Diss Golf Club

Having had its centenary celebrations last year, the Diss golf course originally only comprised nine holes before being upgraded to eighteen. In its present condition, it now sprawls over 6206 yards of beautiful Norfolk countryside. It is within each reach of the town centre and the local train station also, making it all the more popular.

This links course is a real treat as it contains many natural hazards that are almost unnoticeable, blending effortlessly, as they do, into the surrounding landscape. The par 4 thirteenth is a good example of this. A good, long drive is needed to give you the best possible position on your approach as the two-tiered green is guarded by steep mounds that need to be successfully negotiated.
