The Swingers Golf Centre is home to one of the UK's rising teaching academies. The Lichfield-based centre's facilities are certainly top-of-the-range and have been servicing the local golfing community, and those from further afield, for some time now and with great success. Robert Rock, the current European Tour player, rose to prominence from the centre with impressive performances in the Benson and Hedges International Open and Volvo PGA Championship before finishing joint fourth in The Daily Telegraph Damovo British Masters and joint ninth in the BMW Russian Open. The centre's golf course, Darnford Moors, is a delightful nine-hole pay-and-play venue and is open to players of all abilities.
