The Wrekin is one of the most beautiful golf courses you are likely to play on your travels to Shropshire on England's west coast. The course was designed in the early part of the last century and was built on farmland that was, at the time, owned by Lord Forrester. Since those early days, many things have changed and the course, following some redesign in the 1970s, lost all of its par fives. But that does not imply that the Wrekin can't test your skills. On the contrary, this course is more than capable of living up to its name!

The fairways are tight and don't offer much room and when the wind blows you'll be forgiven for thinking your playing thoroughbred seaside links - superb!
